The bald bearded man, who bore a remarkable resemblance to the award-winning author-artist Shel Silverstein, extracted the hastily-stapled bundle of pages from the manila folder. The paper was brittle and yellowed with age and resembled an arcane volume that was hidden away in a secret compartment in some far-off antiquarian library or monastery. Surprisingly, it was in fairly good condition despite the numerous stains and smears, small fingerprints and chew marks made by some great drooly beast that went by the ludicrous name of Peanut Von Strudel. It also featured text in a primitive language he immediately recognized as English of Usa origin. His eyes were immediately drawn to an illustration that showed the face of a majestic silvery-gray wolf. The scrawling text surrounding it read as followed:
A huge gray wolf Silver Tip that had flashes of silver when he runs. He lived in a huge castle with his master Sorelock. The castle was haunted by ghosts. The ghosts are good. When he died his ghosts gureds the castle and his Master. Sometimes he will stick his head out of walls. Silver Tip was killed by a Hydra near Cloud City. Silver Tip killed the Hydra, but when he walked a few feet from the body he fell down dead. The poison had killed Silver Tip. Before he died he said his last words, he will haunt the castle and will not rest. A few years later Sorelock had some friends come over. "I just saw Silver Tip running around in the snow!!" said Arthur dipping his cookie in his milk. "Silver Tip is dead, you got that gone!" cried Corro. "Well, that's funny I just saw him running around in the snow!" cried Arthur. The three looked at each other they sprang from ther'er seats. They flung open the door. The snow was white as powdered sugar. They can see the four toe foot of a huge wolf. The foot prints begain go near the door, but they couldn't see anything. Arthur felt something brush against his coat, but he could't see anything. He heard soft footsteps of some animal in the hall. The hall was covered with pictures of his great Aunts and Uncles. "Sorelock had a lot of Aunts and Uncles." said Corro closing the door. When Sorelock went to visit his Aunt Rema and Uncle Tod. Corro and Arthur were left to take care of the castle. Corro was dusting a painting of Sorelock's great great Uncle Corelock. Corro was dusting it when the man in the picture sneezed. Corro was so startled he drop the duster. "Dear me I'm terribley sorry!" cried Corro. "Arthur looked at him. "Did you say something Corro?" "NNNOo!" stammered Corro---
The man adjusted his reading glasses and carefully flipped a page, only to be met with not more cryptic text but with the startled gaze of what looked like a cat owl done in thin blue ink. With a puzzled frown, he turned another parchment leaf and found instead a simple sketch of cave dwelling with a board sign titled "The Unicorn Inn" hanging outside. He looked inquiringly at his six-and-a-half-year-old son fidgeting impatiently before him. "Is there more?" "I kinda ran of story stuff," the curl-haired ginger munchkin replied, shuffling his small feet worriedly. "Maybe you can help me..."
